NUS Medicine’s Mind-Science Centre (MSC) is a knowledge centre of excellence for psychological research, education and service with a non-drug approach. Our research into ageing and dementia has already been translated into community programmes and activities, which have been rolled out to the benefit of hundreds of elderly in Singapore.
MSC has touched the lives of 1,400 senior citizens throughout Singapore, with our community programmes and research. To date, the centre has established the Training and Research Academy at Jurong Point (TaRA@JP), conducted 4 research derivatives, forged 10 community partnerships with NGOs and VWOs, leveraging our funds with many highly competitive grants.
The Mind-Science Centre is fully dependent on philanthropic support and government grants to defray the costs of capacity building, ongoing translational research, development and the roll-out of intervention programmes to more communities across Singapore. Through our work, we hope to make Singapore a more resilient nation. We welcome all contributions to our efforts.
