2. Theory Exam (Non-secured Assessment) - IVLE
3. Clinical Exam - Online Marking Tool (OMT)


1. Theory Exam (Secured Assessment) – ExamSoft
ExamSoft is an assessment-management solution that supports the entire testing process, including exam creation, administration, delivery, scoring and analysis. The software delivers powerful and actionable data to assess learning outcomes.

Phases/years supported: Phase I

Type of examinations supported: Formative, Summative, EOPT, MEQ, MCQ

Year implemented: 2015


2. Theory Exam ( Non-secured Assessment) - IVLE
IVLE is a stable e-assessment platform, which supports exam creation, administration, delivery, scoring and analysis.

Phases/years supported: Phase I – V

Type of examinations supported: Formative, Summative, EOPT, MEQ, MCQ

3. Clinical Exam - Online Marking Tool (OMT)
Online Marking Tool (OMT) is a web application which allows users to plan, perform, and analyze clinical examinations.

Features:
  • A systematic approach in management of clinical exams by minimizing errors in marks recording
  • Enhanced marks collation process
  • Real time monitoring of marks
  • Examiner and student analysis
  • Extraction of reports

Phases/years supported: Phase II, Phase III, Phase IV and Phase V

Type of examinations supported: OSCE, Short-Case Analysis, Long-Case analysis (Main & Supplementary Exam)

Year implemented: 2013

Achievements:
  • Pilot run conducted 2013 followed by full scale implementation in 2014.
  • Printing of hardcopy forms reduced to 25% (contingency purposes only).
  • No errors recorded in marks recording and report retrieval.
  • Smooth execution of exams as per scheduled timing.
  • Reduction in manpower and other resources deployed for exam support.
  • 98.7% of examiners rated OMT as outstanding and satisfactory in their feedback.
  • New customizations (Multiple examiner, etc.) implemented across all phases in 2015.

Plans Ahead: Further enhancement of the system with new customization of reports for marks processing and using marks analysis for student feedback.
