NUS CRiHSP in the Development of OECD's PaRIS Conceptual Framework

Patient-Reported Experiences and Outcomes Measures (PREMs and PROMs) are crucial to advancing Value-Based Health Care. As part of the OECD’s landmark Patient Reported Indicator Surveys (PaRIS) initiative, a comprehensive framework has been developed to guide the creation of indicators and surveys for chronic patients in primary care settings.

This framework, crafted through a systematic, accountable, and inclusive process, aims to form the foundation for developing survey instruments and generating specific hypotheses to guide data analysis and interpretation of findings. The Director of the NUS Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) has led the international team responsible for this significant achievement.
