CRiHSP’s research is centered around 3 core domains of health system performance:
1. Increasing accountability and feed-back on value centred performance according to the quadruple aim (population health, user experience, cost-minimisation and provider well-being) through the routine use of patient and provider reported information;
2. Optimising core health system functions of continuity and coordination for maximising integration and minimising duplication and waste; and
3. International comparative health systems performance assessment for identification and dissemination of best practices.
We focus on supporting evidence-based health systems decision making through rigorous analysis of the dynamic of health care systems worldwide, with a particular focus in the ASEAN region. Evidence is synthesized and disseminated through case studies, policy briefs, and other reports, as well as through publication in scientific journals.
Evaluation of models of care that optimise continuity and co-ordination, particularly as facilitated by innovative IT developments, including: i) modality characterisation at the individual, team and clinic level ii) evaluation of the impact on processes and outcomes of care.
CRiHSP evaluation fellows will lead a relevant evaluation project over 18 months. They will develop their abilities and skills through a training and development programme in a supported environment maximising the benefits of self-directed and peer-learning and will also learn on the job how to further train others in their immediate usual environment.
Lectures, seminars, and webinars delivered by centre staff and invited presenters of international presenters of international reputation, short courses and formal training opportunities, eventually consolidating in a MSc in Health Systems Research.
