Lydia TANG
Lydia Tang is a Research Assistant at the Centre of Sustainable Medicine, focusing on carbon emissions in healthcare products and processes. Prior to joining CoSM, she volunteered for a non-profit NGO calculating carbon emissions for churches in Singapore.
Lydia graduated from the University of Warwick with a Master of Sciences in Humanitarian Engineering with Sustainability and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Global Sustainable Development with Theatre and Performance. Her master’s dissertation on climate immobility and climatically trapped populations analysed the implications of climate mobility policies in providing the needs of marginalised groups, while navigating the ethical concerns of mobilising groups that want to stay behind. She has a particular interest in decarbonisation and hopes to gain skills and knowledge on different mediums in reducing climate impacts.
