Dr Lysaght is an Associate Professor at Sydney Health Ethics in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney, and Visiting Associate Professor at NUS Medicine. She is an internationally recognized bioethicist with expertise in the ethical, regulatory and policy challenges of emerging science, biomedicine and emerging infectious disease. She has 15-years of experience in teaching health ethics to undergraduate and graduate students undertaking medical degrees and specialist training in bioethics. She has led multiple competitive research grants and published widely in high impact journals in bioethics, science and medicine. She is a member of the International Bioethics Association, the Asia-Pacific Bioethics Education Network and sits on the Executive Committee for the Australasian Association of Bioethics and Health Law.
