Adjunct Assistant Professor Kalisvar Marimuthu is the Deputy Director of the Department of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and TTSH. He completed his specialist training in Infectious Diseases in 2013 and subsequently underwent advanced training in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) through the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) at Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland. Dr Marimuthu is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and serves as a Senior Consultant for IPC at the Ministry of Health and the Communicable Diseases Agency. His primary research interests focus on the transmission dynamics of emerging infectious diseases and multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs).
