Dr. Han Wang is an Associate Professor at the College of Future Technology, Peking University. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of viral infection, as well as the development of antiviral therapeutics and innovative vaccines. She has made significant contributions to the field, including elucidating the entry mechanisms of Ebola virus, characterizing the replication strategies of nucleo-cytoplasmic large DNA viruses (NCLDVs), and advancing the development of a novel vaccine against mpox virus. Her work has been published as first or corresponding author in leading journals such as CellNature ImmunologyPNASNature Communications, and Nucleic Acids Research. She was the recipient of the Beijing Municipal Supporting Project for Young Talents (2022–2024) and is currently supported by the Beijing Nova Program. She also serves on the Young Editorial Board of hLife.
