Dr Swapnil Mishra

Assistant Professor, NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health


Dr Swapnil Mishra is an Assistant Professor at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS with joint appointments at Institute of Data Science and Department of Statistics and Data Science. His research is on spatiotemporal statistics and Bayesian machine learning, applied to public policy, global health and social science. Dr Mishra has been awarded NUS PYP fellowship in 2024, Singapore NRF Fellowship in 2023, the Blackwell-Rosenbluth Award in 2022, and the SPI-M-O Award for Modelling and Data Support in 2022.

In 2022, Dr Mishra co-founded the Machine Learning & Global Health network (www.MLGH.net), a collaborative initiative spanning three continents that brings together researchers to address global health challenges with a kick-off workshop held in Kigali, Rwanda at ICLR in 2023.
