Dr Sean Wu is an Associate Consultant of Infectious Diseases and a member of the Infection Prevention and Control team in the National University Hospital, Singapore. Other than ensuring that best infection control practices are adhered to, he has worked in various aspects of outbreak management.

Dr Wu led various initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic to reduce nosocomial transmission and piloted the use of rapid antigen tests in early detection of asymptomatic health-care workers, has been an invited speaker to regional Infection Prevention conferences, and writes hospital-based policies on managing outbreak-prone pathogens.

Within the realm of education, Dr Wu runs an Infection Prevention and Control workshop for residents and has received several teaching awards.
