In the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2026, released on 19 June 2025, NUS secured the 8th position globally, maintaining its status as the leading university in Asia. This continued recognition reinforces the University’s reputation as a global leader in education, research, and innovation.
The annual rankings evaluated 8,467 institutions across 106 locations, including four universities from Singapore. NUS remains in the top 0.5% of universities worldwide and continues to be the sole Asian institution in the Top 10.
