With nearly a decade in healthcare operations, Ivan supports NUH’s emergency preparedness and crisis management efforts, ensuring continuity of care during civil emergencies and disease outbreaks. He played a pivotal role during COVID-19, driving operational coordination and policy updates while working closely with multiple departments.
Ivan has served as an Operations Lead for nearly 4 years and oversees a team of 18 executives, driving operational readiness and resilience across the hospital. He has successfully led major incident exercises, including large-scale ground deployment exercises and table-top simulations involving over 180 staff across multiple departments. His leadership during critical events—such as rapid mobilisation for drug recalls and IT downtime crises—demonstrates his ability to coordinate real-time decision-making and resource allocation under pressure.
Certified in ISO 22301:2019 and a crisis management trainer, he equips healthcare leaders to bridge the gap from peacetime to crisis with resilient, innovative strategies. Recognized for his collaborative leadership and operational excellence, Ivan consistently drives readiness and resilience across hospital operations.
