Dr Leung Hoi Ting is a Principal Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore, and adjunct faculty at several universities. She obtained her PhD in Health Psychology in 2024, where her doctoral research examined the application of social psychological theory in understanding human behaviour during pandemics. With professional experience spanning healthcare and law enforcement, Dr Leung integrates clinical practice, research, and policy perspectives in addressing psychological responses to crisis and emergency contexts. Her current work focuses on promoting psychological resilience, staff wellbeing, and mental health preparedness within high-stress environments. Dr Leung is also an active contributor to national initiatives on crisis response and health system transformation, and she regularly publishes and presents on mental health, trauma, and behavioural health in emergencies.
