Deborah is currently a Senior Consultant with the Department of Infectious Diseases, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and is also the Director of the National Tuberculosis (TB) Programme at the Communicable Diseases Agency. Prior to this, she also worked with the Ministry of Health on TB and HIV policy issues. She also has an interest in community development, where she worked in rural communities in Philippines, Myanmar and South Sudan. She has also worked with various NGOs providing humanitarian assistance in countries such as Philippines, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
