Medical/nursing faculty at your university and administrative staff who manage/handle the operations of your healthcare simulation centre. |

Number of Fellowship Opportunities |
| |
Two positions for medical/nursing teaching faculty and one position for healthcare simulation centre administrative staff. |
| 4. |
Expenses |
|
This is a FREE fellowship. You only need to take care of your flight tickets, accommodation and other personal expenses during your Fellowship at CHS in Singapore. |
| 5. |
Learning Outcomes (May vary depending on duration of your Fellowship and if you are a teaching faculty or centre administrative staff) |
|
| a. |
Simulation Centre Leadership, Management and Advocacy |
|
Observe and discuss effective leadership and management in simulation activity planning and execution. Advocate for simulation integration in medical curricula. |
| b. |
Centre Administration and Operations |
|
Observe and discuss matters concerning administrative and operational aspects, including budgeting, manpower planning, scheduling, inventory control, asset management, and regulatory compliance. |
| c. |
Simulation Design and Delivery |
|
Observe and discuss the development and implementation of simulation scenarios that address specific learning objectives and reflect evidence-based practices, co-teach simulation activities, and operate simulation technologies (e.g. simulators, task trainers, AV systems, AR/VR headsets). |
| d. |
Educational Theory and Debriefing |
|
Apply adult learning principles and educational theory to simulation-based teaching. Conduct and participate in structured debriefing sessions with experienced tutors. |
| e. |
Exposure to Simulation Technologies |
|
Exposure to various technologies in CHS, including low- and high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, hybrid, haptics, screen-based simulation, wearables AR/VR, avatars, humanoids e.g. Standardised patients, chatbots. |
| f. |
Research |
|
Opportunity to design scholarly projects in simulation for local studies or collaborate with CHS in developing innovative MedTech projects. |
|
| 6. |
Suggested Activities During Your Fellowship (May vary depending on duration of your Fellowship and if you are a teaching faculty or centre administrative staff) |
|
| a. |
Tour of CHS and the VR lab. |
| b. |
Involvement in simulation teaching sessions during NUS Medicine’s Phase V Simulation posting (activities include teaching, debriefing, scenario operations, programme administration, mingling with students, staff or teaching faculty). |
| c. |
Observation and participation in in-situ simulations in the Emergency Department, National University Hospital, Singapore. |
| d. |
Meetings with the following (depending on schedule and availability): |
