Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course

This course, accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), is conducted for the final year medical students as well as other healthcare providers. Australian Institute of Ultrasound (AIU) Courses

Partner with AIU, CHS offers various ultrasound talks and courses targeted to local physicians.

Basic Life Support & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (BLS & PALS) Course

This course, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA), is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. Using the infant and child simulators, the trainees learn about basic live support skills including CPR and AED, to paedritric advance life support skills to manage critically ill infants and children.

Fundamentals of Simulation-Based Healthcare Education

This workshop is aimed at educators who are interested in using simulation as a teaching tool. Participants will work in groups to develop and run their simulation scenario, and practice different debriefing techniques to facilitate learning.

Institute for Medical Simulation – Simulation as a Teaching Tool: Instructor Course

This 4-day intensive course is led by the experienced Harvard-affiliated faculty from the Centre for Medical Simulation, Boston, USA. It is meant for trained healthcare educators with simulation training, and it covers all high-level elements and concepts involved in running a simulation programme.

Neonatal Resuscitation Course

This course is targeted to healthcare personnel who deal with newborns. The trainees will be equipped with evidence based knowledge and appropriate skill sets to perform optimally both at an individual level as well as part of a team while resuscitating a newborn.

Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT)

This is an evidence based multi-professional training package which focuses on the teamwork when dealing with obstetric emergencies. Using the centre’s high fidelity simulators, the team of obstetrician, anesthetist and nurses work together to manage some obstetric emergency scenarios designed by the faculty.
