Dear Colleagues, The Organising Committee of APMEC 2010 and the Medical Education Unit (MEU), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, National University Health System, cordially invite you to attend the 7th Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) from 4th to 8th February 2010 at the National University of Singapore, Singapore. The theme for our 7th APMEC is Excellence in Medical Education, Quality in Healthcare - Trends, Issues, Priorities, Strategies (TIPS). One of the major challenges facing educators involved in training medical and health care professionals is to get the trainees to translate their learning into day to day professional practice. The conference focus is to share and learn from the experience and best practices followed internationally. The Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference has grown and strengthened over the years. It is now in its seventh year attracting participants not only from the Asia-Pacific region but from around the globe. For our 6th APMEC 2009, 471 medical and health professionals from 29 countries participated. We hope to see an even stronger participation in 2010. As per previous APMECs, We have also invited distinguished medical and health professional educators to share their experiences in our 7th APMEC 2010 .
