Shengyu joined the Centre for Biomedical Ethics (CBME) as a Research Fellow in 2025. Her doctoral research at the University of Bristol focuses on the ethical challenges of palliative care in the Chinese mainland.
With a background in social science, her research interests include end-of-life ethics, palliative care ethics, and healthcare ethics in Asian cultural contexts.
