Profile
Kelvin joined CBmE in 2021 on secondment from the Ministry of Health (MOH). He works with the Director and Programme Leads on the development of CBmE’s graduate coursework and Continuing Education & Training (CET) programmes, with a focus on the strategic positioning of CBmE’s programmes within the wider health and biomedical sectors, to more effectively reach healthcare practitioners and other working professionals in those sectors who would benefit from a deeper knowledge and understanding of bioethics.
Kelvin is trained as a pharmacist and has postgraduate qualifications in bioethics. His working experience has mainly been in the field of health regulation, including the regulation of medicines and health products with the Health Sciences Authority, and the regulation of healthcare services and biomedical research with MOH. His last posting in MOH was to head the Secretariat that supports the work of Singapore’s Bioethics Advisory Committee and the National Medical Ethics Committee.
