Profile
Fion Lai is a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) in Hong Kong, with a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Warwick, UK, and an M.Sc. in Clinical Microbiology from the University of Nottingham. She began her career at the University of Macau as an administrator in the Faculty of Health Sciences, focusing on lab operations, safety (ISO accreditation), and grant management, and also completed an MBA there.
In 2022, Fion joined the National University of Singapore, providing administrative support for the Clinical Ethics Network + Research Ethics Support (CENTRES) initiative. She contributes to developing educational activities in clinical and transplant ethics to enhance the capabilities of ethics committees in Singapore, and supports CENTRES’ finance operations and workshop/conference organisation.
