Dr Alexa Nord-Bronzyk is a Research Fellow with the SHAPES programme. Originally from Michigan in the U.S., she came to Singapore in 2014 to pursue her M.A. and eventually Ph.D. in philosophy from Nanyang Technology University, graduating in 2021. She focused on Chinese philosophy and Zhuangzi’s notion of spontaneity in particular. Her interests include AI ethics, research ethics, policy, and stakeholder engagement. Alexa has also had corporate marketing and learning and development experience in the U.S. and APAC.
