We are seeking professionals of all levels of experience from the healthcare sector to participate as tutors in our HeLP tutorials. As a tutor, you will have the chance to impart your expertise, offer guidance on ethical decision-making, and motivate the future generation of healthcare professionals.
Your engagement in our tutorials will not only enhance the learning experience for our students but also play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of ethical excellence within the healthcare community.
If you are new to teaching medical or other healthcare students, or if you have limited experience in ethics education, please do not worry. We have an induction and shadowing program to help best prepare you to take on this role. You can also commit to as much or as little teaching as you would like, or as your schedules allow for.
Becoming involved in teaching in the HeLP curriculum also offers a first step to get further involved in the life and academic culture of the Centre for Biomedical Ethics. It provides a springboard into taking on more significant educational responsibilities, or in developing your personal interests and experience in medical or healthcare ethics research.
