Module Objectives

  • Develop a sound ethical and professional approach to practice.
  • Acquire essential knowledge of duty of care, consent, mental capacity, confidentiality, accountability, integrity and justice, grounded in the Singapore practice context.
  • Able to address the ethical and professional issues that occur in daily practice.

Part 1: Modules & Readings in Clinical Ethics

Part 2: Case-Based Interactive Workshop

Small group learning conducted via Zoom

 Up to 35 (1 trainer to 7 participants)

2 half days (9.00am to 12.50pm)

  • Managing family requests for information

  • Issues with colleagues

  • Safe discharge

  2. Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES): Singaporean aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fee.
  3. Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS): SME-sponsored employee (Singapore Citizens and PRs) may enjoy subsides up to 90% of the course fee.
  4. Learners must pass all assessment components to successfully complete the course and receive a Certificate of Participation. Please note that learners may have to bear the full course fee if they fail to meet this requirement.
