Module Objectives
- Develop a sound ethical and professional approach to practice.
- Acquire essential knowledge of duty of care, consent, mental capacity, confidentiality, accountability, integrity and justice, grounded in the Singapore practice context.
- Able to address the ethical and professional issues that occur in daily practice.

- This module is organised by the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics.
- It is taught by experienced nurses from the NUS Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies and NUHS who have completed the NECC Educators’ Course in Healthcare Ethics, Law & Professionalism, and experienced healthcare ethicists from the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics.

- Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES): Singaporean aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fee.
- Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS): SME-sponsored employee (Singapore Citizens and PRs) may enjoy subsides up to 90% of the course fee.
- Learners must pass all assessment components to successfully complete the course and receive a Certificate of Participation. Please note that learners may have to bear the full course fee if they fail to meet this requirement.
