As illustrated below, TREX club meetings are held to facilitate collaboration between researchers from Cancer Science Institute (CSI), NUS Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR) and National University Cancer Institute (NCIS). This round\u2019s grant call <span style=\"color: black\">is earmarked for <b><u>collaborations between surgeons and scientists<\/u><\/b>.<\/span> Projects discussed at the meeting will be eligible for funding and will be selected by vote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxmsonormal\"><u>Meeting details<\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxmsolistparagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm\"><b>Date: Wednesday 6<sup>th<\/sup> March 2024<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxmsolistparagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm\"><b>Time: 4.30 pm to 6 pm<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxmsolistparagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0cm\"><b>Venue: MD6-13-01 \u2013 CeTM \u2013 L13 conference room (13-02N)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7840 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/trp\/n2cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/07\/Copy-of-TREX-Grant-Call_d2-300x240.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"806\" height=\"645\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/trp\/n2cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/07\/Copy-of-TREX-Grant-Call_d2-300x240.gif 300w, https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/trp\/n2cr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/07\/Copy-of-TREX-Grant-Call_d2-768x614.gif 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 806px) 100vw, 806px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Funding Details:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 projects will be eligible for funding at this grant call (1 CSI+NCIS researcher pair, and 1 N2CR+NCIS researcher pair)<\/li>\n<li>SGD 30,000 per project for a 1-year period<\/li>\n<li>For this call, funding is made available to researchers\/clinicians from CSI, N2CR members, and NCIS (Surgical Oncologists)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Key selection criteria:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New collaboration between a CSI researcher and an NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).<\/li>\n<li>New collaboration between an N2CR researcher and an NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).<\/li>\n<li>Utilizes novel biology\/ technology from CSI\/N2CR, for a clinically relevant scenario.<\/li>\n<li>Potential to be completed within a year and form the nucleus for a larger collaborative grant.<\/li>\n<li>Final approval for selected project from Directors of CSI, N2CR and NCIS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To participate in this grant call, please indicate the following to Ann (<a href=\"mailto:ann.koay@nus.edu.sg\">ann.koay@nus.edu.sg<\/a>) and Susan (<a href=\"mailto:tngsusan@nus.edu.sg\">tngsusan@nus.edu.sg<\/a>) by 21st February 2024 (Wednesday)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you are available to attend this meeting<\/li>\n<li>1-2 liner description of your research\/clinical interests<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please direct any queries regarding this grant call to Ann.
