SUMMARY:TREX Grant Call 2023 (August)
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to the upcoming Translation Exchange (TREX) club meeting\, to be held on Wednesday 16th August\, 6pm. As illustrated below\, TREX club meetings are held to facilitate collaboration between researchers from Cancer Science Institute (CSI)\, NUS Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR) and National University Cancer Institute (NCIS). Projects discussed at the meeting will be eligible for funding and will be selected by vote. \nMeeting details \nDate: Wednesday 16th August 2023 \nTime: 6pm \nVenue: MD6-13-02N – CeTM – L13 conference room (13-02N) \n  \n \n  \nFunding Details: \n\nSGD 30\,000 per project for a 1-year period\n3 projects will be eligible for funding at this grant call\nFor this call\, funding will be made available to researchers/clinicians from CSI\, N2CR and NCIS (Dept. of Pathology)\nThree grant calls will be made this financial year\n\nKey selection criteria: \n\nNew collaboration between a CSI researcher and NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).\nNew collaboration between a N2CR researcher and NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).\nUtilizes novel biology/ technology from CSI/N2CR\, for a clinically relevant scenario.\nPotential to be completed within a year and form the nucleus for a larger collaborative grant.\nFinal approval for selected project from Directors of CSI\, N2CR and NCIS.\n\n  \nTo participate in this grant call\, please indicate the following to n2cr@nus.edu.sg by 2nd August 2023 (Wednesday)  \n\nIf you are available to attend this meeting\n1-2 liner description of your research/clinical interests\n\n
