SUMMARY:TREX Grant Call 2024 (March) – Calling all surgical oncologists and scientists!
DESCRIPTION:Dear all\, \nWe would like to invite you to the upcoming Translational Exchange (TREX) club in-person meeting\, to be held on Wednesday 6th March 2024\, 4.30pm to 6pm. As illustrated below\, TREX club meetings are held to facilitate collaboration between researchers from Cancer Science Institute (CSI)\, NUS Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR) and National University Cancer Institute (NCIS). This round’s grant call is earmarked for collaborations between surgeons and scientists. Projects discussed at the meeting will be eligible for funding and will be selected by vote. \nMeeting details \nDate: Wednesday 6th March 2024 \nTime: 4.30 pm to 6 pm \nVenue: MD6-13-01 – CeTM – L13 conference room (13-02N) \n \n  \nFunding Details: \n\n2 projects will be eligible for funding at this grant call (1 CSI+NCIS researcher pair\, and 1 N2CR+NCIS researcher pair)\nSGD 30\,000 per project for a 1-year period\nFor this call\, funding is made available to researchers/clinicians from CSI\, N2CR members\, and NCIS (Surgical Oncologists)\n\nKey selection criteria: \n\nNew collaboration between a CSI researcher and an NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).\nNew collaboration between an N2CR researcher and an NCIS researcher (preferred over existing collaborations).\nUtilizes novel biology/ technology from CSI/N2CR\, for a clinically relevant scenario.\nPotential to be completed within a year and form the nucleus for a larger collaborative grant.\nFinal approval for selected project from Directors of CSI\, N2CR and NCIS.\n\n  \nTo participate in this grant call\, please indicate the following to Ann (ann.koay@nus.edu.sg) and Susan (tngsusan@nus.edu.sg) by 21st February 2024 (Wednesday) \n\nIf you are available to attend this meeting\n1-2 liner description of your research/clinical interests\n\n  \nPlease direct any queries regarding this grant call to Ann.
