The global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a leading cause of death worldwide, carrying severe economic and clinical burdens. CAMBRI is established ithin the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine to consolidate translational research efforts and address the dynamic interplay between AMR and the microbiome.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

  • Drive Translational Solutions:<\/strong> Accelerate the pipeline for novel therapeutics, diagnostics, vaccines, and stewardship strategies targeting critical Gram-negative bacteria (such as CRE and CRAB).<\/li>

    CAMBRI leverages a unique partnership between the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine\u2019s Infectious Diseases Translational Research Programme (IDTRP) and ADVANCE-ID at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. Its capabilities are anchored by world-class infrastructure and top-tier expertise:<\/p>

      • ADVANCE-ID Clinical Network:<\/strong> Access to the largest infectious diseases clinical research network led out of Singapore, encompassing over 100 active sites across Asia. This network enables rapid collection of clinical data, patient samples, and pathogens, as well as the execution of large-scale clinical trials.<\/li>
      • Global Influence:<\/strong> Direct connection to the WHO Global Clinical Trials Forum, shaping international therapeutic guidelines and clinical trial practices.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
