{"id":951,"date":"2020-05-21T11:32:56","date_gmt":"2020-05-21T03:32:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/taps\/?page_id=951"},"modified":"2020-05-21T11:32:56","modified_gmt":"2020-05-21T03:32:56","slug":"roles-of-editorial-board","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/taps\/editorial-board\/roles-of-editorial-board\/","title":{"rendered":"Roles of Editorial Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The roles of Editor-in-Chief are as follows:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Manages the editorial aspects of publications\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Decisions on reviews and publications of submitted manuscripts<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Final decisions on articles to be published in each volume and issue<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for the academic content of the journal<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The roles of Editorial Board Member are as follows:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Advise on formulation of overall policies relating to TAPS<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Participate in planning future development and direction of TAPS<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Assist and provide publicity for TAPS at relevant occasions<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Peer review a minimum of 3 manuscripts annually<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Encourage and suggest other reviewers to increase the pool of reviewers<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Contribute at<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>least<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>\u00a0<\/span>1 article during your tenure<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Attend Annual International Editorial Board Meeting which is normally held during Annual Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC)<\/span>, either in person or by video link<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">This appointment will be for 3 years and will be re-invited for consecutive terms. This appointment does not carry any remuneration.
