This supplementary issue of The Asia Pacific Scholar presents the abstracts accepted for the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) 2026. APMEC 2026 serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and the co-creation of strategies that will help us navigate the evolving challenges of healthcare education.
The theme for this conference is “Harmony in Diversity Through Collaboration in Health Professions Education – Trends ● Issues ● Priorities ● Strategies”. In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, this theme underscores the vital role of embracing diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, disciplinary expertise, and lived experiences in health professions education. By integrating varied perspectives, we enrich learning, strengthen teamwork, and foster professional growth all of which ultimately enhance patient care and contribute to better global health outcomes.
