Roles of Editorial Board
The roles of Editor-in-Chief are as follows:
- Manages the editorial aspects of publications
- Decisions on reviews and publications of submitted manuscripts
- Final decisions on articles to be published in each volume and issue
- Responsible for the academic content of the journal
The roles of Editorial Board Member are as follows:
- Advise on formulation of overall policies relating to TAPS
- Participate in planning future development and direction of TAPS
- Assist and provide publicity for TAPS at relevant occasions
- Peer review a minimum of 3 manuscripts annually
- Encourage and suggest other reviewers to increase the pool of reviewers
- Contribute at least 1 article during your tenure
- Attend Annual International Editorial Board Meeting which is normally held during Annual Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC), either in person or by video link
This appointment will be for 3 years and will be re-invited for consecutive terms. This appointment does not carry any remuneration. Board members may choose to step down if they are no longer able to contribute to the journal’s aim and scope.
