Hiroshi Nishigori

Professor Hiroshi Nishigori graduated from Nagoya University School of Medicine in 1998 and became a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine (2004) and a Diplomate in Primary Care of the Japan Primary Care Association (2011). He obtained a Master’s Degree in Medical Education from University of Dundee in 2008 and completed PhD in Health Professions Education in Maastricht University in 2020. His research interests include culture and medical professionalism (especially work ethic), Hypothesis-Driven Physical Examination (HDPE) and teaching and assessing behavioural and social sciences. He is working as an editor of the Journal, Medical Education Japan, a core member of the Asian Pacific Medical Education Network (APME-Net) and an Ambassador of the Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) in Japan. He is also the Visiting Program-Leading Professor at the Medical Education Center, Kyoto University, Japan.
