Professor Jamuna Vadivelu graduated with a PhD in Microbiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom (UK) and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the University of Maryland, United States (US). Fellow of the Foundation of Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) under the auspices of ECFMG, USA. Followed a two-year programme to develop skills in leadership and implementation for undergraduate and postgraduate and medical education. Currently, entrusted with leading and managing the curriculum revision, implementation and quality assurance of the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula at Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya.
