The\u00a0<em>Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions<\/em>\u00a0is the official document that describes in detail the process of preparing and maintaining Cochrane systematic reviews on the effects of healthcare interventions. The current version of the\u00a0<em>Handbook<\/em>\u00a0is 5.1.0 (updated March 2011). It is available in various formats (e.g. online &amp; PDF).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fl-heading review-h3\"><span class=\"fl-heading-text\">Cochrane Handbook for Diagnostic Test accuracy Reviews<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/methods.cochrane.org\/sdt\/handbook-dta-reviews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/methods.cochrane.org\/sdt\/handbook-dta-reviews<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) summarize the evidence about test accuracy. Ideally, they also investigate why the results may vary among studies, compare the performance of alternative tests, and help the reader to understand the evidence in a clinical context.
