WEHS (Women’s Emotional Health Services)<\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Women’s Emotional Health Service (WEHS) is a programme that aims to provide personalised care when you are experiencing emotional issues or distress during difficult periods of your life in pregnancy, first postnatal year, foetal loss (miscarriages and\/or stillbirths) and gynaecological cancer. The WEHS team provides integrated care management services through its collaboration between obstetricians, family physicians, gynaecology oncologists and community psychosocial service providers.<\/p>\n

WEHS seeks to recognise and detect depression and other emotional distress to provide early intervention. Emotional distress has been shown to have a negative effect on mother and baby and on one’s recovery from physical illness. The earlier one seeks treatment, the better the treatment outcome will be!<\/p>\n
