Profile

Dr Tian Cheong Sing graduated from The National University of Singapore in 1980. He worked as a family physician before embarking on specialist training in psychiatry in 1998. He graduated with Master of Medicine (Psychiatry) in 1990 and went on to subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with the London Institute of Child Health. He also went on to attain a postgraduate diploma in Family & Marital therapy from the London Institute of Family Therapy.

Dr Tian had been in private psychiatric practice the last 16 years but has now joined National University Hospital since Sep 2016 as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist. His special interests include helping children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, learning problems, and family dysfunctions. He also has a keen interest in marital and relationship therapy.

Apart from his interest in clinical service, he is passionate about helping youths in community build up their mental resilience through emotional mastery and social intelligence programs.
