The ward team runs a 23-bedder psychiatric ward. We provide comprehensive assessments and holistic treatments for patients requiring acute psychiatric care. We also have a 24-hour admission service for patients with psychiatric emergencies and crisis admissions.
This ward is specifically designed with a ward milieu to help the recovery of our patients with mental disorders. In order to actively rehabilitate our patients, facilities like our multi-sensory room and kitchen help our patients to regain their activities of daily living. Regular activities and meetings run by our health professionals also help them to get well faster.

A wide range of treatments is available within our premises, including pharmacotherapy, psychological therapy and electroconvulsive therapy. Treatments are holistically tailored for every patient.
We co-manage patients with both medical and psychiatric conditions with our medical and surgical colleagues. The ward team works closely with occupational therapists, medical social workers, case managers, psychologists. Consultation-Liaison and the outpatient service to provide a holistic experience for our patients. In addition, the ward team assists in liaising with external counsellors in the community for the patients and their family members.
