Call for Abstracts: 5th NUS Academic Psychiatry Conference 2019

We are now accepting free paper and poster abstracts for the 5th NUS International Psychiatry Conference (21-22 January 2019) which is being held in Singapore!

The theme for the upcoming conference is Resilience Across the Age Continuum.

When submitting your abstracts, please ensure that the following components are included: Title, Authorship, Background, Objective, Design or Approach, Results, and Discussion/Impact. Abstracts should be limited to 300 words.

 

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, 30 November, 2018 at 11:59 pm (GMT +8).

All submissions are welcomed and encouraged!

Submission Guidelines

  • English is the only language to be accepted.
  • Submission accepted only via email: pcmbox3@nus.edu.sg
  • General guidelines
    • Abstract MUST include the following:
      • Objectives: 50 words or less, at the conclusion of this presentation, the participants should be able to… e.g. demonstrate, recognize, diagnose, treat, etc.
      • Methods: Briefly describe methods implemented throughout the project. List key steps carried out, tools used, and time frame.
      • Results: Summarize the results from the project and include sufficient evidence to support the results and identify what changes have emerged. The evidence must support your conclusions in the next section.
  • SUBMITTED abstracts will not be edited or proofread before printing (ALL authors are responsible for his/her abstract)
  • AFTER submission deadline, change of abstract and addition and/or change of authors CANNOT BE made. Please make sure all authors are entered.
  • Please note that abstracts will not be accepted if the above guidelines are not adhered to.

 

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Final programme/Abstract book, on condition that the presenting author is registered for the conference and has paid the registration fee (if applicable).
