The 35th Anniversary celebration in 2014 was marked by the inaugural Academic Psychiatry Conference titled “Celebrating Academic Psychiatry – 35 years on” and the conferment of the Tan Geok Yin Professorship in Psychiatry and Neuroscience to Professor Kua Ee Heok, as an exemplification of his pivotal contribution to the development and advancement of academic psychiatry.
