Profile

Dr Chris Tsoi graduated with MBChB from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was trained in Psychiatry in Hong Kong and United Kingdom and is qualified as a specialist in both General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry in UK and Singapore. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK. Dr Tsoi is now a consultant with the National University Hospital of Singapore. Prior to working in Singapore, he had spent seven years in UK as a practitioner. He was qualified as a psychogeriatrician and a general adult psychiatrist in Leicester before practicing as a consultant in Nottingham.

His research interests include dementia and depression in the elderly.

He is also the programme director for G-RACE, a community outreach programme for the elderly living in the western region of Singapore.

Besides his interest in clinical service and research, he is passionate about residency and fellowship teaching. He has won many awards and honors at institutional and national level. Some of his notable past achievements include the Best Tutor Award from NUHS in 2014.
