The brain shows an area of intracerebral haemorrhage in the right frontoparietal lobe, with compression of the brain parenchyma and involvement of the lateral ventricle. There is accompanying midline shift.
The heart shows diffuse concentric thickening of the left ventricular wall myocardium. There is focal myocardial fibrosis but no acute infarction is seen.
The kidney is mildly shrunken with a granular surface.
