A Rare Glimpse: A Patient’s Story
Meet Dan “Dry Dock” Shockley, a US Navy veteran who was diagnosed with attenuated familial adenomatous polyposis (AFAP), and who has undergone life-changing surgery as a result. Hear his truly inspiring story of forging ahead with great courage and fortitude.
Dan has generously given his consent for the Pathweb team to share his story of early detection and treatment. Dan also talks about his interaction with the late Dr Henry Lynch, the Father of Familial Cancer Research!
Thank you Dan, for the generous gift of your story, and we wish you all the very best!
