{"id":3687,"date":"2024-09-10T03:43:30","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T03:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/patho\/?page_id=3687"},"modified":"2025-10-09T08:53:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T08:53:32","slug":"cet","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/patho\/education\/cet\/","title":{"rendered":"Continuing Education and Training (CET) Course"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\tContinuing Education and Training \n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The Department of Pathology offers short Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses designed for:<\/p>\n<h6><b>Academia:<\/b><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>To equip individuals involved in tissue-based research with foundational knowledge of the various types of tissue on which research techniques can be applied.<\/li>\n<li>To enable participants to recognize both normal, non-cancerous, and cancerous tissues under the microscope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><b>Biomedical \/ Pharmaceutical Industry:<\/b><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>To collaborate with the pharmaceutical industry to develop customized courses tailored to the specific needs of our industrial partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2022, the department launched its inaugural CET course on Histology and Laboratory Techniques.
