DEPARTMENT EDUCATION GROUP<\/strong><\/h2>\n\t

We are the group of clinician and science educators in the department who oversee the delivery of Pathology teaching through the various programmes, viz<\/em>\u00a0undergraduate, graduate, residency and\u00a0continuing education and training.\u00a0 Taking guide from the evolving needs of the university and the healthcare landscape, we help plan and\u00a0implement effective Pathology\u00a0teaching for the various groups of students\u00a0and trainees. \u200b<\/p>\n\t\u00a0
\nA\/Prof Tan Kong Bing<\/strong><\/a> is the Department’s Education Director, and likes to engage students in group discussion.\u200b\u200b\u00a0\n

A\/Prof Victor Lee<\/strong><\/a> is the is\u00a0the Acting Head of Department and active in teaching Phase 1,2 and 3 medical students.<\/p>\n

A\/Prof Evelyn\u00a0Koay<\/strong><\/a> is\u00a0Honorary Fellow\u00a0in the Department of Pathology.\u00a0\u00a0\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

A\/Prof Nga Min En<\/strong><\/a> is Clinician Educator and core faculty, and has an interest in developing interactive online learning content, and leads the Pathweb<\/a> team. She enjoys using both ‘old school’ and IT-enabled methods for teaching.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A\/Prof Thomas Putti<\/strong><\/a> is the Dentistry (Pathology) module coordinator\u00a0for many years, along with his commitment to teaching Phase 2 and Phase 4 medical students. <\/p>\n

Dr Cheok Chit Fang<\/strong><\/a> is the Postgraduate Education Director\u00a0and oversees\u00a0the graduate program for PhD and\u00a0MSc\u00a0students at the department. She\u00a0teaches\u00a0NUS\u00a0Medical students and\u00a0NUSMed\u00a0graduate students\u00a0and\u00a0enjoys\u00a0discussing about science and research.\u00a0\u00a0\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Dr Thomas Paulraj\u00a0Thamboo<\/strong><\/a> is the core faculty of the NUHS Pathology Residency Program.\u00a0\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Dr Seet Ju\u00a0Ee<\/strong><\/a> is a Clinician Educator and undergraduate education director (NUH).\u00a0\u00a0\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Adj A\/Prof Derrick Lian<\/strong><\/a> is a Clinician Educator\u00a0and\u00a0the undergraduate education director (NUH). He\u00a0is interested in discovering new and better ways to learn. \u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Dr Justin Wong<\/strong><\/a> is a Clinician Educator\u00a0and\u00a0contributes to teaching Immunology as well as Pathology to Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy students. \u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Dr Wu Bing\u00a0Cheng<\/strong><\/a> is a Clinician Educator, deputy coordinator of the Dentistry (Pathology) and leads the department’s Instagram presence.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dr Gwyneth Soon<\/a><\/strong> teaches Phase 1 and 2 medical students, Dentistry students, and is a member of the Pathweb team.<\/p>\n

Dr Ooi Li Yin<\/a><\/strong> teaches Phase 1 and 2 medical students and is a member of the Pathweb team.<\/p>\n

Dr Nicholas Tan<\/a><\/strong> teaches and mentors medical students and is active in Cytology teaching.<\/p>\n

Dr Tan Hui Min<\/a><\/strong> teaches Phase 1 and 2 medical students and is a member of the Pathweb team.<\/p>\n
