It services the diagnostic requests of numerous medical specialties and plays a critical role in the process of patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. The department performs more than 40,000 anatomic pathology tests per year.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
