He is a total joint arthroplasty and oncology surgeon with a special interest in research on osteolysis, periprosthetic tissue responses to wear debris from failed arthroplasties, immunomodulation of periprosthetic tissues, corrosion and wear at modular interfaces etc.<\/p><p>The 2016 V K Pillay Lecture titled &#8220;<strong>Challenges in Arthroplasty in the 21st Century<\/strong>&#8221;
