Rushing from one place to another, suffering constant interruptions, being surrounded by the bright lights and loud, incessant noises. The daily grind sometimes feels like being simultaneously kicked around, compressed and boxed in.
In those moments when I feel like I’m being suffocated by The Big City, I often feel like I need a soft-focus reset with an escape to a place with wide open spaces and limitless skies; to replace the whine of construction with the wind in the trees, the glare of the sun on windshields with the glimmer of the same sun on the ripples of waves.

Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day is held every year on the first Friday of June. This campaign raises awareness for the mental health of all within the healthcare industry – from doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, to administrative and ancillary staff.
