It is crucial, therefore, that the world sees the need to invest in the nursing profession, protect and support the nurses who work alongside doctors and aid in patients\u2019 recovery.<\/p>\r\n<p>Global exchange of research, practices and sharing of knowledge are also vital in ensuring that nurses are up to date on the latest nursing practices and protocol.<\/p>\r\n<p>In tandem with International Nurses&#8217; Day, Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine is pleased to launch its first illustrated graphic novel, \u201cLicence to care\u201d to celebrate the fortitude, determination, and passion of nurse practitioners over the world. This delightful manga chronicles the journey of nursing students pursuing Nursing as a lifelong vocation, how they aid in the fight against Covid-19 and manage the anxiety of working on the frontlines while keeping their families safe too.
