The positive effects of urban greenspace exposure to health shown in various existing research has provided a clear signal to us that mapping pathways between nature and mental health is of priority. As such, Mind Science Centre (MSC) will be prioritizing research in the multi-disciplinary area of mental health, life science, urban planning, social capital and health economics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Last July, the centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Parks Board (NParks) to jointly pursue related research and collaborative activities of mutual interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4022\" width=\"792\" height=\"594\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/nmsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/03\/MRC01028-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 792px) 100vw, 792px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Moving forward with the collaboration, NParks and MSC organized a Round Table Discussion at the Function Hall of Botany Centre on the morning of 24 February 2022.
