Wong Hock Boon Society Research Fellowship 2013
The Wong Hock Boon Society Research Fellowship aims to provide an opportunity for medical students to learn how to write research grants and properly utilise the funding to enable different research activities. Shortlisted applicants are given opportunity to present their proposals in front of a panel of clinicians and basic scientists to learn how to defend their projects and to incorporate criticisms/comments to refine their proposals.
Three students were awarded the Research Fellowship 2013 ($2,000 per project for duration of one year) and presented with a certificate during the Wong Hock Boon Appreciation Dinner. They are: Bryce Tan Wi Quan (Medicine, Year 2), Bryan Koh Thean Howe (Medicine, Year 3) and Daniel Chew Wen Chao (Medicine, Year 4).
