Our inaugural win in the Learning Institutions Quality Conference 2014
Published: 05 Dec 2014
We are proud of QI Team for achieving the Gold Award in the Learning Institutions Quality Conference (LIQC)! To add on to the honour, it was the first participation for NUS Medicine in this national conference. A joint effort by the Education Division and Computer Centre; the winning project – Farewell to Snail Reports – eliminated the manual process in disseminating student feedback reports to the respective stakeholders from NUS Medicine and healthcare institutes, including the management, administrators and teaching staff. The stakeholders can have better access to the reports via a self-service system based on their authorisation levels.
LIQC is organised annually by NUS Organisational Excellence Office for educational institutions, with an aim to provide an official platform for sharing administrative best practices between organisations, and build collaborative networks of change and innovation across institutions. The conference emphasises the learning component of team excellence, so that participants take away valuable lessons on project development, implementation and the discipline of sustaining positive results.
